Biography
Stan Christian is the Acting Director of Prudential Supervision. In this role Stan leads the supervision and oversight of licensed deposit takers and insurers.
Stan joined Te Pūtea Matua in 2018. Prior to his appointment as Acting Director of Prudential Supervision, Stan was the Senior Manager Prudential Supervision, having worked in various prudential supervision roles since 2018.
Prior to joining the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Stan held various senior risk management and corporate services roles at a number of international banks in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United Kingdom. He holds a masters in business administration degree from Bond University, Queensland.
