This entity is not a registered bank under the Banking (Prudential Supervision) Act 1989, nor is it prudentially supervised by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand or any other New Zealand authority.
Use of the words 'bank', 'bankers' or 'banking' in the name, or in activity carried out by, Crown Bankers has not been authorised by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has also issued a statement about Crown Bankers being an unregistered financial services provider and falsely claiming to be compliant with New Zealand regulations.
