Treasures from the vault

In our role as kaitiaki or steward of New Zealand’s cash and currency, we look after the archive of historic items of Aotearoa New Zealand currency. This secure collection is cared for by the Reserve Bank in Wellington and contains many valuable items. This exhibit highlights some rarely seen treasures from the vault.
