Holiday Act remediation payments for former employees

Holidays Act 2003 remediation update

The Holidays Act 2003 sets out how payment for leave and final pay is to be calculated and paid.

We’ve found that some past employees may have been incorrectly paid under the Holidays Act. We contacted former staff members who were employed by the Reserve Bank between 1 April 2013 and 1 July 2022 who are entitled to a payment.

We contacted everyone we could by email or letter. Some we have been unable to contact.

If you have been contacted or have not been contacted due to your address or email having changed, please complete the form below and provide us with your:

  • name
  • date of birth
  • email address
  • IRD number

If you have any questions or can’t access the form, please email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you.

If you joined the Reserve Bank after 1 July 2022, you have been paid correctly and don't need to do anything.

Please note this is only for people who were employed by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
