4th "Continuing Education in Macroeconometrics" Workshop

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand hosted a two day workshop on "Continuing Education in Macroeconometrics" on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 and 8 December, 2016. The purpose of the workshop was to bring together practitioners and early-career researchers from central banks, policy institutions, and academia to provide exposure to recent developments in macroeconomic research methods and obtain feedback on research-in-progress.

Panel discussion

A panel discussion that featured experienced policy makers and academics was on the nexus between state of the art research and the policy making process. The panel featured Adam Cagliarini (Reserve Bank of Australia), Arthur Grimes (Motu and Victoria University of Wellington), and James Yetman (Bank for International Settlements).
