All teams who present in the Monetary Policy Challenge will receive certificates.
Each team will travel to Wellington to compete in the national final on Wednesday 5 July 2017. The Bank will cover the cost of travel to and from Wellington for each team member and one teacher. One night's accommodation will be funded if travel cannot be completed in one day.
Each student in the teams that are selected to compete in the national finals will receive prizes worth $100.
The national winner will be announced after the national final.
The winning team will travel to Wellington to spend Thursday 10 August 2017 at the Reserve Bank. You will be special guests of Reserve Bank Governor, Graeme Wheeler, as he delivers the Monetary Policy Statement. You'll meet with senior decision makers and see first hand how economic theory is put into practice.
Each student in the winning team will also receive prizes worth $500.
