Terry Newman
Director of Physical and Personnel Security
Terry Newman is the Director of Physical and Personnel Security, which sits within our People and Technology Group.
His role is to oversee protective security practice at Te Pūtea Matua ensuring we meet the government’s Protective Security Requirements. The directorate is responsible for identifying threats, vulnerabilities and risks, and implementing fit for purpose mitigation measures. This includes planning for and response to security incidents and heightened threats.
Terry has been with Te Pūtea Matua since 2021, continuing a long career in security roles in New Zealand and overseas.
