Table C12 reports monthly borrowing outstanding and deposits with credit and charge cards issued in New Zealand. Analysis of credit card debt includes the average interest rate charged on ‘standard cards’, the total value of personal debt on cards actually incurring interest, the weighted average interest earned on that debt and the effective yield on all credit card debt, interest and non-interest bearing.
