B2 Wholesale rates

B2 Wholesale rates – Monetary Conditions Index (MCI)

The Monetary Conditions Index (MCI) previously published in the B2 Wholesale rates table was discontinued at the end of November 2000.

B3 Retail interest rates on lending and deposits

Some series in table B3 have been discontinued.

The latest available data for the Call deposit rate and the Base lending rate is April 2009. The Call deposit rate is discontinued, while the base lending rate has been replaced with an improved Business base lending rate.

B4 Foreign exchange monthly turnover

Discontinued June 2012.

Monthly foreign exchange turnover by instrument and by counterparty based on daily averages replaced the previously published data. Note that the monthly data is not fully comparable with the previously published daily averages.
