Biography:

After graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2000, Dean spent three years working at the Reserve Bank before taking up a Treasury Economist role at the Bank of New Zealand. In early 2007 he returned to the Reserve Bank and currently manages the Forecasting Team within the Economics Department.
