Biography:

After graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2000, Dean spent three years working at the Reserve Bank before taking up a Treasury Economist role at the Bank of New Zealand. In early 2007 Dean returned to the Reserve Bank as a Senior Analyst in the Forecasting Team. His responsibilities include assisting in the production of the Bank's quarterly Monetary Policy Statements.
