Biography:
Martin earned a Ph.D. degree at the Centre for Economic Research and
Graduate Education, Charles University in Prague.
He was an intern at the International Monetary Fund in 2004. In 2005-2006,
Martin worked as an Economist and later as a Senior Economist at the Research
Department of the Czech National Bank. He joined the Reserve Bank in March 2007
as a Senior Research Analyst.
Martin is in the development team of a Dynamic
Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) model that aims to replace the Reserve
Bank’s Forecasting and Policy System.

- Adaptive learning and optimal monetary policy
