Biography:

Satish currently works in the Bank’s Forecasting Team. He has previously spent time in the Bank's Issues and International team and Research team.

During his time at the Bank, Satish has examined the accuracy of the RBNZ's forecasts, as well as the relationships between inflation, inflation expectations and survey data. He has also done work on the possibility of currency union between New Zealand and Australia and examined the features of US recessions post-WWII.

Current research interests:

• Issues relevant to growth and inflation in New Zealand's trading partner economies.
