Biography:

Ashley is a Senior Adviser in the Economics Department mostly involved in forecasting and modelling work. He has worked in this area for over 20 years at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.

Current research interests:

• Short term macro-economic indicator models
• Applied monetary policy modelling
• Inflation and output gap relationship
• Exchange rate inflation pass-through
