NZ Y2000 bank testing on track

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand today reported that after the completion of another day of Year 2000 testing of banks' computer systems, no significant problems had been reported.

Reserve Bank Deputy Governor Rod Carr said: "This is all good news. The Reserve Bank will issue its next progress update on the afternoon of 4 January."
