To help ensure Reserve Bank news is available in as timely a manner as possible, the Bank operates a Twitter account. Twitter is just one of the options for receiving Bank information.

Subscribing to Reserve Bank tweets
In order to ‘follow’ ReserveBankofNZ on Twitter you will need to have a Twitter account set up. This can be done at Twitter.com and is accessible via your computer or mobile phone.
By clicking on the blue ‘follow’ icon on the Bank’s Twitter account page you become a ‘follower’. This means you are now subscribed to the ReserveBankofNZ’s Twitter account. When the Bank ‘tweets’ a message, it will be sent to you and appear on your Twitter account homepage.
Unsubscribing
To stop ‘following’ the Reserve Bank, visit the ReserveBankofNZ Twitter account, then hover over the blue ‘following’ button on the profile page. This will change to a red ‘unfollow’ button, which you can then click to unsubscribe.
