Stephen Gordon

Steve Gordon, a Chartered Accountant, joined the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as Head of Risk Assessment and Assurance in 2011.

Prior to his appointment Mr Gordon was Head of Risk – Business Support at the Bank of New Zealand. He joined the BNZ in 2002 as Head of Audit for New Zealand.

Mr Gordon previously worked for WestpacTrust (1995-2002) and National Bank (1988-1995), where he specialised in IT audit roles.

He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University.
